MHFA Refresher Course (Public)

Description

The course is designed for anyone who has completed the 2 day Adult Mental heath first aid course and who wishes to refresh their MHFA Skills. 

Why is this important?

Just as physical first aiders undertake refresher courses to keep their skills finely tuned and their reactions and responses sharp, so should Mental Health First Aiders.

With more being understood, discussed, and implemented surrounding mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, new actions, responses, and terminology are constantly emerging. If your Mental Health First Aiders are kept up to date with such changes, via the refresher courses, they will be knowledgeable in current and appropriate reactions, responses, and support.

Prerequisites

You must have completed a 2 day Adult Mental Health First Aid course in order to undergo this training.

When training is delivered online, all training defaults to Zoom unless specified by your employer.

You will need to be able to access Zoom on your PC, Laptop or Tablet.
